Gear sets and gear set swapping were intentionally removed. This doesn't change much, unless you really micromanaged your pet's health and wanted to see their travel time and status without going into an inventory screen. Pet status and stats were intentionally removed. There is no alternate slot set or ability set toggle, severely limited moveset on the console version. The only control binding is in mapping abilities and items to eight slots. ![]() You're left to figure it out for yourself as you go. There is hardly any control customization, and you can't even see what the controls do. The UI and menus are a bit clunky, though that's to be expected. So if you're considering Torchlight 2 on console, and you've already enjoyed it on PC, I recommend you heed the following list of changed/removed features. And, unfortunately, I didn't get what I paid for :( I pre-ordered and paid for the same game I've enjoyed for years on PC, on console. I did not pay money for " Torchlight 2: Lite" or " Torchlight 2: Removed Features Edition". The bigger issues here are how Perfect World and Panic Button will support the game post-launch they have the opportunity to fix it up, patch it up, and make it into a proper release that equals the PC version, and I hope they choose to do that. Torchlight 2 on console is the same game as it is on PC, but lack of certain features that were in the game from its release seven years ago, as well as many unfortunate bugs and issues, all add up together to make it a less than magical experience. I'm only as critical as I am because I wholeheartedly adore this game, and I was wishing and hoping for a console release for years.
